Sheila and I began this adventure of Compassion Advocacy together as we sensed the Lord asking us to go 'further up and further in' with reaching out in Christ's Name, to the children around the world who need 'a leg up' in life. Our heart is that many children will be sponsored and generally supported and discipled for Christ through Compassion.
It has been such a blessing to work together on this: to plan, to pray, to present the cause. We encourage one another and spur the other on; we share stories and videos that we come across about hurdles and victories on the Compassion frontlines, we pray together for 'our' children and for those who are not yet sponsored, and for the workers near and far.
We hope that you will be inspired, encouraged and fortified in your spirits - by the Holy Spirit - to begin or continue your own journey of sponsorship and to consider becoming a Compassion Advocate if you are not one already.
